Nintex Automation Cloud - Complete a task

Use the Nintex Automation Cloud - Complete a task action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. Actions are the steps the workflow performs to complete a process. to complete the user's task by setting the task outcome. The outcome of the task must match one of the task's defined outcomes.

For example, task outcomes are configured in the Assign a task to multiple users action of a workflow and are typically something like approve or reject.

Configure the Nintex Automation Cloud - Complete a task action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.

  2. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.

  1. Specify the Task you want to complete.

    Note: If the task does not have Express approval toggled on, the Complete a task action will fail upon execution. Ensure Express approval is toggled on so that the action will complete successfully. For more information about toggling on Express approval, see Assign a task to multiple users.

  2. Specify the Assignment ID.

  3. Specify the Outcome of the selected task.
