Configure the Microsoft Teams - Post to a channel action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.

  2. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.
  3. Type the Team that the channel belongs to, or insert a variable in the Team field.

  2. Select a Format type of your message.
  3. Write your Message to post. You can insert variables. Actual values of the variables appear in the message posted to the channel.
  4. In Output, assign a variable to hold the ID of the new message. You can use this ID later in your workflow to reference the new message.
