Credential Exists

The Credential Exists action determines if a specific credential exists in the botflow Automated steps that you can design for each bot that will run..

Note: The Actions Quick Reference provides a complete list of actions that you can print for easy reference.

Create a Credential Exists action

  1. Click Data and select Credential Exists from the Actions list.

  2. If you do not want to search for a locally-created credential and instead want to search for a credential that you created in the Credential Vault in Nintex RPA Central, select the Use credential Vault check box. For more information on the Credential Vault, see Credentials.

  3. Select the Credential name. Optionally, click the Magic Wand to use the Expression Builder.

  4. In the Save to field, select or navigate to the location where you want to save the credential. Optionally, click the Magic Wand to use the Expression Builder.

  5. (Optional) Type a Note to document special instructions or functionality.

  6. Click OK to save the action.

If the run switch is set to Run, the action is executed and the credential is sent from your botflow to a target.

Note: The run switch is set to Run by default. To create or modify this action without executing it, click the slider to change the option to Don't Run.  For more information, go to Action Builder.
