Create forms
Nintex Forms are quick and easy to create. You simply have to drag controls on to the form designer, configure the controls, define rules if required, and apply changes to the form. The published forms are accessed by form users via a web browser
You can create:
-

Start forms: A form that starts a workflow. Nintex Form is selected as the start event for a workflow. Use Nintex Form as the start event to initiate your workflow every time a user submits this form. For more information, see Nintex - Form.
 -

Task forms: Created when configuring a task action. The form is displayed to users interacting with tasks that are assigned to them. Use a task form to collect data and interact with users in your workflow. For more information, see Assign a task to multiple users.
 -

Table forms: A form for a Nintex Data table which can be used to save data directly to the table when the form is submitted - without requiring a workflow. For more information, see Table forms.

Note: You can save task and start forms even if they contain incomplete or invalid controls, variables, or rules. This allows you to save your progress and return later to complete the form design. However, workflows that include forms with incomplete configurations cannot be published until the forms are fully configured.
Anonymous forms
Anonymous forms allows users to open and submit a form without signing in. You can create anonymous start forms and task forms.
To allow anonymous submission in forms:
-

Start forms: Set Form access to Anyone with the form URL. For information about configuring a start form, see Nintex - Form.
 -

Task forms: Disable Assignee authentication in the configuration of the Assign a task to multiple users action. For information about configuring task forms, see Assign a task to multiple users.

- Make sure you add the Save button to the form in the action panel while creating the form. The Save button lets participants save their changes to a form, and continue to edit the form or submit it later. For more details on how to enable Save on forms, see Form designer.
 - Saving drafts isn’t supported for embedded anonymous forms.

Users can save a draft and resume later with an encrypted return link. Draft data is stored in the user’s browser and not on Nintex servers. If the return link is altered or incomplete, the draft can’t be restored. An error message appears and a new form opens for a new submission.
