This topic describes how to use images.

Use images in the Document Generation action to populate your templates. You can add image tags directly within the document or overwrite existing Microsoft image tags in placeholder images.

To add an image directly in the document

  1. Open the Document Generation action, create a template, and then click Images in the action ribbon.

For information on adding a template, see Create templates.

  2. For Image tag name, enter the name of the image as it will appear in the Nintex Document Tagger.

  3. For Image URL, enter the name of the SharePoint or publicly acceptable URL for the image file.

  4. Click OK.

  5. Open the Nintex Document Tagger: In the Document Generation action, select the template you want, and then click Open and tag.

  6. In the  Nintex Document Tagger, expand the Images subsection to see the available tags.

  7. Select the image tag you want.

The selected tag appears where your cursor was positioned in the document.

For information on tagging, see Tag templates.

When the workflow generates documents from the tagged templates, the image appears where the tag was placed.
