Adjust the Nintex RPA LE preferences to change the default settings for many action An instruction within a botflow., variable A spot to store a piece of information., and other botflow Automated steps that you can design for each bot that will run. fields.
Example: The Click action has the option to Bypass the mouse for a faster click in a botflow task. By default, this option is not selected. If you know that you will be regularly using this option when creating botflows, use the Click preference to set Nintex Bot to bypass the mouse for a faster click. This preference will save you time when using the Click action and provide consistent use when you are using the Click action to create botflows.

Open the Preferences window
- On the Nintex Bot Menu Bar, click Account.
- Click Preferences in the Account Panel.
Note: Changes to preferences are not saved until you click OK on the Preferences window.
Import Nintex Bot preferences into Nintex RPA LE
If you are a legacy Nintex Bot user, you can import your preferences into Nintex RPA LE by using the Import feature. By default, a file called FTConfiguration.mdb
is created and saved by the Nintex Bot Administrator in C:\\Program Data\Foxtrot Suite
.
- Click Import in the lower left corner of the Preferences window.
- Click Yes in the Preferences Import window to continue.
- Navigate to where the
FTConfiguration.mdb
file is located and select the file. - Click Open.
- Click OK to continue.
- Select the required user for the import and click OK.
The selected preferences import into your local Nintex RPA LE.
