Data preferences
Use Nintex RPA LE Preferences to adjust the default Data preferences when creating botflows Automated steps that you can design for each bot that will run..
Example: By default, All Supported Files is selected for the data file type. If you know you will be regularly using comma-delimited files for data when creating botflows, select Comma-Delimited Files to set the option as selected by default.
Set Data preferences
- Click Account from the Nintex RPA LE Menu Bar.
- Click Preferences in the Account Panel.
- Click Data.
- Default: Select the default data file type to use when importing data from the drop-down list:
- All Supported Files (*.accdb, *.mdb, *.csv, *.dbf, *.xlxs, *. xls, *.xlsm, *.txt, *.prn, *.sdf)
- Access Files (*.accdb, *.mdb)
- Comma-Delimited Files (*.csv)
- DBase Files (*.dbf)
- Excel Files (*.xlxs, *. xls, *.xlsm)
- Fix-Width Files (*.txt, *.prn, *.sdf)
- All Files (*.*)
- Type: Select between SQL or MySQL.
- Server: Type a SQL Server name, click the drop-down list to select an available server from the list, or use the Expression Builder to build the action settings using variables or other token values.
- Port: The default port is 1433. If required, type or use the up and down arrows to specify a different port to connect to your SQL Server.
- Timeout: The default timeout is 30 seconds. If required, type or use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the timeout setting.
- Authentication: Select Windows or SQL from the drop-down list.

Click OK to save the changes.
