Use the Xe-Com - Convert currency action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. Actions are the steps the workflow performs to complete a process. to convert one currency amount into another currency.

Configure the Xe-Com - Convert currency action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.

  1. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.
  1. Use the Select language drop-down to select the language for the currency name.
  2. Select whether to Return obsolete currencies or not.
  3. Select the currency to convert From.
  4. Select the currency to convert To.
  5. Type the value Amount of the currency you want converted.
  6. Create or select a variable for the output.

  • Converted from: (Text) The base currency used to convert from.
  • Amount specified: (Decimal) The value of the convert from currency being converted.
  • Currency update date: (Text)
  • Converted currencies: (Collection)
    • Currency code: (Text) The counter currency used to convert to.
    • Currency value: (Decimal) The value amount converted into this currency.
    • Inverse value: (Decimal) An inverse rate is a quote for which the base currency and counter currency are switched. An inverse is calculated by dividing one by the exchange rate. Example: If the exchange rate for $1 USD to EUR = 0.874852, then the inverse rate would be 1/0.874852 = 1.14305, meaning that US$1.14305 would buy 1 euro.
