Twilio - Send a message

The Twilio - Send a message action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. Actions are the steps the workflow performs to complete a process. sends a text message to a mobile phone number you specify.

For example, you want to send a confirmation text to customers when they submit a New Account Application form. By using variables, you can store the mobile number entered in the form and then insert that variable in the Twilio - Send a message action.

Configure the Twilio - Send a message action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.

  1. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.
  2. Type the Recipient phone number.
  3. Note: Make sure you prefix the phone number with a plus sign ("+") and include the area code. For example, +425-555-1234.

  4. Type a Message.
  5. Select a variable from the Store message ID drop-down list to store the new message ID.
