A channel can be defined as a category-based collaboration space inside a team created for a specific purpose. Each channel has its own dashboard to post messages, tabs, and the usual environment you get from the default channel.

Configure the Microsoft Teams - Create a channel action

1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add, rename, and copy actions.

2. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.
3. Select a Team in which to create the channel.

Note: Team drop-down list displays a maximum of up to 999 teams. If you want to select a team that is not in the list, you need to insert a variable in the Team field.

4. Type a Channel name.
5. Type a Description of your new channel.
6. In Output, assign a variable to store the result of the action. You can use this ID later in your workflow to reference the new channel.
