K2 Out of Office - Configuring Out of Office

Watch a short video on how to setting Out of Office rules in the K2 Worklist Web Part  (Length 5 minutes). This video was created using the K2 Worklist Web Part in SharePonit but the principles remain the same when using Out of Office in Workspace. 

When configuring K2 Out of Office it is necessary to assign destination users who will receive the shared K2 Worklist items. The destination users can be set by the out of office user, administrator or manager. The user's availability can be determined by the Out of Office icon displayed next to the user's name in the K2 Worklist.

  To interpret the Out of Office statuses the following applies:
  • The icon of a user who is Out of the Office, is colored red, 
  • The icon of a user who is In the Office, is colored green, 
 

The K2 Out of Office service can be configured either from within K2 Workspace, SharePoint, SharePoint 3.0 Central Administration, or from SharePoint Process Portal
