Designers > K2 Designer for Visual Studio > Design Tools > Toolbox > Event Wizards > Server Events > Run As > Run time vs Design Time > Example Configuration Using a Wizard (Design Time) > Specifying Credentials | Send feedback |
When specifying Run As credentials, the User Account specified must be a valid account one which can be authenticated against the specified Security Label. When entering the details as shown below the K2 Developer will need the user name and password of the specified account.
Run with Specific Credentials | |
---|---|
Event Name | Name of the Server Event* that will use these credentials and not the K2 Service Account |
User Name | The fully qualified Domain Name for the user account |
Password | The password required for the user account |
Security Label |
A security label must be selected, and only existing Security Labels can be selected. If the security label required is not present in the list for the required target LOB system, one must first be created before. |
* Only Server Events support the Run As functionality |
Depending on your environment and to boost visibility on which user or service performs specific Server Events, the Run As feature can be employed to avoid using the K2 Service Account. As a result, when reviewing the K2 Log files, the specified Run As set of credentials will appear in the Log.
