Creating the Form

The Denallix Application Form will consist of three Views:

On the Form we want the students to see and complete their details first using the Student SmartForms View and then select the course they wish to study. When the course is selected from the dropdown box on the Form the details of that course must load on the Form. This will be the Course List view. Simultaneously we want the Course fees applicable to that course to display on the Form using the Course Fees List view.  This will take care of the Student completing and applying for a course at the college.

When the student applies for the course we want the Enrollment Office to view this Form with the student’s details and be able to accept or decline the application using the Forms. To achieve this we will add a Form state. The student will not be able to view this state of the Form. We will add two buttons namely Approve and Decline to the Form and modify some of the rules to ensure the administration officer can see the student details and be able to process the application using the Form.

Once the Form is built we will use it to start the Workflow.

Follow the steps below to create the Form:

  1. Create the Denallix College Application Form
  2. Configuring the Form rules
  3. Testing the Denallix College Application Form
  4. Create the Applicant Approval Form state
