Launched Wizard Properties

The Launched Wizard tab, of the Multi-Step Sensor, details the wizard(s) that is launched following the sensor.

In order to save the multi-step sensor, a wizard must first be added or recorded.

Open Sensor Editor

The sensor, in a Multi-Step Sensor, triggers a wizard action to occur. These wizards can be created and recorded prior to sensor creation, see: Creating & Recording Wizards

You can:

Add an existing wizard from the Wizard Catalog -or-

Record a new wizard

To add a wizard to be launched by a Multi-Step Sensor:

  1. Choose a sensor from the Sensor Catalog -or-

    Create a new sensor

  2. Fill out the Sensor Properties

    (For more information see: Editing Sensor Properties)

  3. Click on Open Editor , theNintex Sensor Editor opens

  4. Click the Insert tab on the upper toolbar of the Nintex Sensor Editor

  5. Click Launch Wizard from the Insert tab drop-down

  6. The Catalog opens. Select an existing wizard(s)

    The Catalog only presents published wizards

  7. Click OK

    When selecting an existing wizard, the Flow Pane is not enabled to edit the wizard.

    To edit an existing wizard, click Edit Wizard

To record a new action for a wizard:

  1. Choose a sensor from the Sensor Catalog -or-

    Create a new sensor

  2. Fill out the Sensor Properties

  3. Click on Open Editor , the Nintex Sensor Editor opens

  4. Click Record on the Sensor Editor upper ribbon

  5. Follow the steps in Preparing to Record

  6. Record a wizard
