Create or Edit a process
Processes are at the heart of Nintex Process Manager. Creating and editing good processes is key to the usefulness of the tool, and your team’s ability to engage with it. This section is about getting started with processes.

Anyone within your organisation can create a new process although some organisations choose to restrict who can create processes. Typically normal users can only create a process where they are either the Process Owner A user responsible for ensuring the process is operating effectively, and continuously improving. Not necessarily a subject matter expert, but empowered with organisational authority to approve changes as needed. or Process Expert A user who performs day-to-day process management on behalf of the Process Owner. For more information, contact your Promaster A Nintex Promapp system administrator who administers a Nintex Promapp site and has rights to view and edit all areas of a Nintex Promapp site.: On the top-right of your Nintex Process Manager site, click Help > Contact Promaster.
The Process Owner, Process Expert, Business Analysts and Promasters can edit processes. Additional Process Editors can be assigned at the process group level. For more information about process rights, see Rights with Process Approval and Rights without Process Approval.
Go to Processes > All Processes and confirm that the process group you want to create the process in exists. If not, contact the Promaster:c On the top-right of your Nintex Process Manager site, click Help > Contact Promaster to create the process group. For more information, see Process groups.
