Auto task delegation

The Auto task delegation setting controls whether automatic task delegation is available for all users in the tenant.

Enable or disable task delegation for the tenant

  An administrator role is required. For information, see User roles.

The Auto task delegation setting controls whether automatic task delegation is available for all users in the tenant.

  1. Go to Settings > Tenant.

  2. Click Auto task delegation.

  3. Under Auto task delegation, switch the toggle On or Off.

  • When this toggle is On: Users can configure a date range for their absence. During this period, all new tasks assigned to them are automatically delegated to the specified user. After the end date, tasks are assigned back to the original assignee. See, Auto task delegation.

  • When this setting is Off: Users cannot configure automatic task delegation.

    Note: Disabling this toggle will turn off auto task delegation for the entire tenant. Existing delegated tasks will continue, but any upcoming delegations will stop, and no new tasks will be delegated.
