Licensing and packages
Nintex Automation Cloud has packaging and licensing tiers that cater to different requirements. Each package offers various features and limits, so as you move up the tiers, you'll unlock more features and higher limits. Each tier will determine:
-
Feature availability: The features available depend on the package you have. If a feature isn't available, you'll see a message indicating that its availability depends on your license.
-
Limits: Nintex Automation Cloud sets usage limits to ensure stability and performance. Each package offers different limits, so as you move up the tiers, you'll unlock higher limits. For details about your usage and feature entitlements, reach out to your Nintex Account Manager.
Below is a description of each license. They're designed to be flexible, making it easy to expand by either buying extra capacity or upgrading to a higher package that offers more features and higher limits.

-
Trial licenses are time-based. On expiration, you can no longer access the Nintex Automation Cloud tenant. Expiry is shown in the Tenant and user details page. Emails from tenants with a trial license can be sent only to the email addresses of domains registered in the tenant. To see the list of registered domains in the tenant, in your Nintex Automation Cloud tenant, open Settings and then select Domain management. For more information, see Domain management.
Note: Workflow counts for subscription and Enterprise licenses do not apply to trial licenses.
What happens when a trial license is about to expire? The workflow owners will receive an email reminder two weeks before the expiration date about the nearing expiration of the trial license.
What happens after a trial license has expired? If the trial license has expired, you will no longer be able to sign in to your account. Tenant creators and administrators will receive an email reminder that the Nintex Automation Cloud tenant has entered a 30-day cooling-off period.
During the cooling-off period, you can still recover or extend your trial account so that you can access your workflows again. A second email reminder will be sent two weeks after the start of the cooling-off period.
Note: To request to recover your trial account, contact Nintex Support.
Finally, a last email reminder will be sent 72 hours before the cooling-off period ends. Email reminders provide the following information:
-
Tenant information
-
Workflow and tenant information that will be deleted, if not recovered by end of the cooling-off period
-
Nintex contact information and what you can do to recover your trial account
After the cooling-off period, you will no longer be able to recover trial tenant data. Furthermore, the following changes happen to your tenant:
-
Publishing workflows is no longer allowed.
-
All users are removed from the expired tenant. Users can no longer sign in to the tenant.
-
The Nintex Automation Cloud tenant is deleted.
-
If the deleted tenant is the only tenant that uses the email domain, the domain becomes available to other users.
How can I recover my trial account during the cooling-off period? To recover your trial account, contact Nintex Support before the cooling-off period ends.
