Previous: Part 1: Populate the Upgrade Center

Part 2: Upgrade workflows

1. Select the workflows you wish to upgrade

Select the checkbox next to the workflow or workflows you wish to upgrade. It is best practice not to upgrade all the available workflows at once: try upgrading one or a small batch to start.

2. Upgrade the workflows

Click Upgrade (X workflows) where X represents the number of workflows you selected.

The upgrade process will take a few minutes to complete. The status of the upgrade is indicated by the status displayed in the Upgrade status column. Click Refresh to see the latest upgrade statuses:

  • Ready to upgrade - The workflow has been imported and is in queue and waiting to start the upgrade.

  • In Progress - The workflow upgrade is in progress.

  • Draft created - The workflow upgrade is complete and a draft is saved Nintex Workflow.

  • Published - The workflow has been published Nintex Workflow.

  • Error - The workflow upgrade has encountered an error.

Note: If you receive an error status on a workflow upgrade, refresh your upgrade inventory. If the errors persists, contact support.

3. Review the draft workflows created

Navigate to your Workflows list in Nintex Workflow to view the list of draft workflows created.

Note: When the workflow is saved in Nintex Workflow, if the workflow name has any of the following special characters, they will be replaced with a space because special characters are not allowed in workflow names in Nintex Workflow:

` ! @ ~ / [ ] ^ $ . | * + ( ) \ # % & = { } ' " < > : ; , ?
