The Slack - Invite user to a channel action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. sends a channel invitation to a user of a Slack workspace. For more information about the Slack connector, see Slack.

Configure the Slack - Invite user to a channel action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add, rename, and copy actions.

  2. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.

  3. Select the User you want to send the channel invitation to.
  4. Select a Channel type.
  5. Select the Channel you want to invite the user to.

The user that is invited to the Slack channel. The user must be a member of the Slack Connection’s workspace.

Filter the Channels drop-down by type. Public channels can be seen by any member of the workspace. Private channels can only be seen by users who have been invited.
