Slack - Create a channel
The Slack - Create a channel action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. Actions are the steps the workflow performs to complete a process. makes a new channel in a Slack workspace. For more information about the Slack connector, see Slack.
Note: Channel names have a 21-character limit and can include lowercase letters, non-Latin characters, numbers, and hyphens. See the SlackCreate a channel Help Center topic for more information.
Configure the Slack - Create a channel action

Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.

Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.
- Select a Channel type.
- Type the Name of the channel you want to create.
- Select a variable from the Store channel ID drop-down to store the new channel's ID.
