Salesforce - Update a record
The Salesforce - Update a record action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. Actions are the steps the workflow performs to complete a process. updates the specified attributes from the specified record in Salesforce.

Configure the Salesforce - Update a record action

Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.
- Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.

Select an Object name.
- Type the Record ID.

Update attribute values in the record:
- Click Add field to view fields for the selected object.
- Select each field you want and then click Add.

For each added field, select or enter the value you want to use when updating the record.

Value to use when updating the indicated attribute (field). Accepts an inserted variable. Accepted entry types correspond to the data type of the field. Some fields allow a combination of typed text and inserted variables while others require selection from the drop-down list (or an inserted variable). To remove a field, click (Delete). |
