Microsoft OneDrive for Business - Copy a file

The Microsoft OneDrive for Business - Copy a file actionA tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. copies a file from one folder to another folder in your Microsoft OneDrive for Business account.

Before you start 

Configure the Microsoft OneDrive for Business - Copy a file action

In the Designer page: 

  1. Click the Microsoft OneDrive for Business action group in the action toolbox.

    or

    Find actions by browsing action groups or by typing an action name or function in the Search field at the top of the action toolbox.

  2. Drag the Microsoft OneDrive for Business - Copy a File action to the point in the workflow when you want to copy the file to a folder.
  3. Click the Microsoft OneDrive for Business - Copy a file action.
  4. Select a Connection.

  5. For Source, select Path or File variable.
  6. If you selected:
    • Path: Type a path to the file to copy. You can also browse the folder structure using the browse icon ().
    • File variable: Select the file variable.
  7. Under Destination, in Path, type the path where you want to copy the file to. You can also browse the folder structure using the browse icon ().
  8. Select an option for Overwrite file.
  9. If you want to use the file as an output variable, select a variable for Store file as a variable.
  10. If you want to use the new file path as a variable, select a variable for Store new path as a variable.
