Nintex RPA LE - Start an RPA botflow

Use the Nintex RPA LE - Start an RPA botflow action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. to run a botflow in Nintex RPA Central.

For example, use the Nintex RPA LE - Start an RPA botflow action in your workflow to run a botflow in Nintex RPA Central, which works with a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet on an on-premises computer on your network domain.

Nintex Automation Cloud communicates with Nintex RPA Central via Nintex Gateway. Nintex Gateway is an on-premises application that enables Nintex Automation Cloud to access on-premises resources, such as Nintex RPA Central. Before you begin: 

  • Download, install, and configure Nintex Gateway to your on-premises domain computer or server and create an Nintex RPA LE connection

  • Understand Variables

Configure the Nintex RPA Central - Start an RPA botflow action

  1. Open the Nintex RPA LE - Start an RPA botflow action in the configuration panel. For more information, see Add, rename, and copy actions.

  2. Drag the Nintex RPA LE - Start an RPA botflow action to the point in the workflow where you want to run an RPA botflow.
  3. Click the Nintex RPA LE - Start an RPA botflow action.
  4. Select a Connection Credentials and other settings required to pass data between the workflow and the indicated service, which could be a cloud service, business application, or content store.. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.

  5. Type values or insert variables into your Inputs fields. The Inputs fields correspond to the Input variables of the RPA botflow.
  6. Select an Output variable if required, which will store the output variable values of the RPA botflow.
