Nintex DocGen for Salesforce - Run DocGen Package

The Nintex DocGen for Salesforce - Run DocGen Package action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. triggers the Run Document Package in Salesforce.

Note: Nintex DocGen for Salesforce must be installed in the Salesforce org that you want to use the Run DocGen Package action with. See the Nintex DocGen for Salesforce help documentation for more information.

Configure the Nintex DocGen for Salesforce - Run Document Package action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add, rename, and copy actions.

  2. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.
  3. Select a Salesforce Object.
  4. Select the DocGen Package you want to run in Salesforce.
  5. Select a Delivery Option.
  6. Type a Record Id.

Connection Credentials and other settings required to pass data between the workflow and the indicated service, which could be a cloud service, business application, or content store.

The Salesforce connection to use for retrieving record attributes.

Salesforce Object

The object type of the record you want to retrieve. Options in the drop-down list are derived from the selected Salesforce connection.

The name of the DocGen Package that you want to run. Options in the drop-down list are derived from the selected Salesforce connection.

Delivery Option

The name of the delivery option you want to execute when the document generation run has completed. Options in the drop-down list are derived from the selected Salesforce connection.

Record Id

The record ID from where you want the package to run.

Add field

Click Add field to view the additional inputs for the DocGen Package the action will run in Salesforce. The input options available to add as fields are derived from the selected DocGen Package.

Select inputs and then click Add to create the additional fields in the configuration panel.

For example, Contact Id is available if the Starting Object for the DocGen Package is any other than Lead. Contact Id is required if "Require Contact Selection" is enabled on the DocGen package, or if any esign Delivery Options use the "User Selected Contact" specified recipient.
