Configure external settings for Workflow
This topic describes how to configure the external settings for Workflow on your SharePoint farm. External settings for Workflow includes connector actions, Document Generation, and External Start.
Note: Before you start, ensure that the Nintex external platform and the certificates required to enable connectivity are installed and enabled. For more details, see Connect to the Nintex external platform.
To configure external settings for Workflow

On the SharePoint Central Administration Home page, click Nintex Administration.

On the Nintex Administration page, click External settings for Workflow.

On the External settings for Workflow page, enable the prerequisite service. When enabled, workflow designers can use the following capabilities in their workflows:
- Connector actions
- Document Generation
- Adobe Sign
- External Start

Click OK to save your changes.
