What's New in K2 Cloud Update 4 Fix Pack 1

The following enhancements and bug fixes are included in this update:

  • Feature: You can enhance data security even further now by using Data Access Policies to control which users may access all data stored in a SmartObject, and who may access only specific records stored in a SmartBox SmartObject.
  • Consideration: Exchange instances and generated SmartObjects created in K2 5.1 will continue to work and will remain under the same category structure they were in before the Fix Pack is applied. New instances and generated SmartObjects created in the K2 5.1 Fix Pack 1 will be under the Exchange Online category under the root node
  • When attempting to edit a workflow containing a high number of steps, for example more than 100, the workflow fails to load. The loading of the workflow stops at 99% and does not open for editing.
  • When you try to upgrade to K2 Cloud Update 4, a DAC deployment error occurred.
  • When you use Azure Active Directory to log in as a guest account, you could not load a K2 Form and a ".Web.HttpUnhandledException" error occurred.
  • When you execute the GetUser method on the UMUSer SmartObject, a specific user did not return although it existed.
  • When you create an Error Profile in Management, you could not select a workflow from the drop down.
  • When you configure a Task step in a workflow and you select the default e-mail notification, then reply to the e-mail notification using the SmartAction, the worklist item was not actioned.
  • When you use the Update Document Properties Event in a workflow and save the document after uploading it automatically checked in the document.
  • When you add a user to a K2 role such as the Package and Deployment role, it did not save.
  • When you deploy a package with Package and Deployment and click on a referenced artifact while the analyzer runs, an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error occurred.
  • When you upgrade to K2 Cloud Update 4, a "key was not present in the dictionary" error occurred on a workflow task activity.
  • When you try to access Management>Workflow Server>Errors, an "object cannot be case from DBNull to other types" error occurred.
  • When you have the SendEmail event configured in a workflow, the recipient of the email will receive duplicate emails. In some instances, an error occurs when sending the email and the workflow goes into an error state.
  • When you deploy a K2 package of a workflow containing an HTML email, the HTML formatting was lost and the HTML text displayed instead.
  • In the Designer, when you use a combination of properties from different SmartObjects from the “Recent” node in the context browser an error occurs. This also causes an error in Package and Deployment when deploying a workflow created with this issue.
  • If you have a reminder email notification configured on a workflow and the time has elapsed for the reminder, an error occurred on the workflow instance stating "The From email address, Null or Empty, does not meet the requirements."
  • When using a SmartObject generated from a stored procedure, the identifier does not return at runtime
  • When you deploy a K2 package, open the Configure Item dialog and click on the ellipsis to select your target, the window took very long to populate the tree control.
  • When zooming on a form using the browser zoom and the Lithium theme has been applied, the icons on certain controls, namely the checkbox list control becomes uneditable.
