The License Management node displays, for the Administrator the license that has been installed for the available K2 Server. The License Key will depend on the product option that has been purchased by the organization. When changes are required the existing license can be edited.
The license for the K2 Server can be updated in the following way.
The new updated license will be listed |
When the existing user license is updated, the new license key that is issued is a license for the existing license and the changes to the licenses. To illustrate, if the organization has a 50 seat user license and buys 5 more seats, the new license enables 55 users to log into K2 Server. This keeps the physical, active license neat and orderly rather than having a 50 seat license and then an extra license for 5 seats listed. So regardless of how many times the same license is updated to allow more users, only one user license will be valid.
