Build and design processes using AI-powered tools or manual modeling. Nintex Process Manager enables you to generate, capture, convert, and refine process maps with AI, or create processes manually to suit your organization’s needs and level of process maturity.

A process is a series of steps and decisions required to carry out a specific task accurately.

Process maps help users to identify and understand the process flow as well as important steps. When processes are not mapped, it increases the chance of errors, reduces efficiency and increases cost. Processes are an important part of our everyday life and some examples of common processes are:

• Creating a sales order

• Onboarding a new employee

• Applying for annual leave

• Leasing a property

AI-powered tools for process creation

Nintex Process Manager provides AI-powered tools to help you build, refine, and automate processes more efficiently.

 

AI pathways

• AI Process Generator: Create a first draft of a new process using generative AI based on a prompt or process description.

• AI Model to Map Converter: Convert an existing BPMN process model into a procedure with activities and tasks using AI.

• Process Capture: Document an existing process by recording real user actions, which are converted into a draft process.

• Automation: Integrate your process map with automated workflows and AI-powered workflow suggestions where available.

Manual process creation

Manual process creation allows you to design a process step-by-step without using AI. This option is useful when you already know the process or need precise control over activities and decisions.

You can manually:

• Create a process

• Suggest a process

• Embed a process (if enabled)

Access the Processes tab

On the top navigation bar of your Nintex Process Manager site, click Processes. The Processes tab displays the following options for creating, viewing, and managing process information in Nintex Process Manager.

• All Processes

• Processes I'm in
• Processes I own
• Process Models
• Favourites
• Checklists
• Archived
• Recently Viewed
• New process: The following options are displayed if the settings are enabled, else Create a process will be displayed instead of New process
  • Suggest a process: Displayed only if the Admin > Configure > Process Editing > Enable Suggested Processes setting is enabled by the Promaster. For more information, see Suggest a process.
