Review a process
Process Owners and Process Experts are responsible for reviewing documents according to the set review periods.
The default review period is set in the site configuration, but can be edited for a process from the Edit > Summary > Review Due field if the Enable explicit process reviews (Default: On) setting is enabled. The next review date is calculated using the set review period, which is counted from the date of the last review. The review history can also be viewed in the process Map > Change Log.
Set or change the default review period
- Go to Admin > Configure > Dashboard > Default process review frequency (Months).
- Click , type the required value and then click .
Reviews for processes you own are shown on your dashboard.
Do the following to view review details.
- On the main navigation bar, click My Dashboard > My Reviews.
The notification status is red when the due date has been reached or passed, and yellow when review is due within 10% of the review period. For example: when the review period is set to 6 months, the process or document status will turn orange 18 days before the review is due.
Do one of the following to address review items.

Click View to display the process details, review the process, and publish with any required changes. If there are no changes required, publish the process with a change description such as 'Process reviewed, no changes needed’.

Click Mark as reviewed, enter an appropriate summary note and click Submit to mark the process or document as reviewed. This will remove the notification from your dashboard.
Note: These review actions are based on the Enable explicit process reviews (Default: On) setting.
