Microsoft Teams create a team

Use the Teams create a team action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. to create a new team In Microsoft Teams, teams are groups of people brought together for work, projects, or common interests. Teams are made up of channels. Teams can be created to be private to only invited users, or to be public and open and anyone within the organization can join (up to 5000 members). in Microsoft Teams. You can use the Microsoft Teams add member to a team to add members to the team.

Important: If you want to create a plan for the team, you must add yourself as a member of the team before you create the plan. Use the Microsoft Teams add member to a team action to add members to the team.

Before you start 

Add and configure Microsoft Teams create a team action

  1. Click the Integration action group in the action toolbox.

    or

    Type the action name or function in the Search field at the top of the action toolbox.

  2. Drag the Microsoft Teams create a team action to the designer canvas.
  3. Do one of the following to open the Action configuration window:

    • Double-click the action.
    • Click on the action and then click Configure.

  1. Type a Team name.
  2. Click Save.
