What is the Diagnostic Line Action?
The Diagnostic Line Action is a special Action used by Nintex when diagnosing problems in Nintex RPA. This Action is not intended for general use and is documented for reference purposes.
Note: The Diagnostic Line Action will only function while a Diagnostic Trace is running. If the trace is turned off, this Action is ignored and will do nothing.
Creating a Diagnostic Line Action
Open the Diagnostic Tools. Select Advanced Actions to expand the Action list. Select theDiagnostic Line Action from the Actions list to display the Action Builder.
Enter the Text you wish to be included in the Diagnostic trace. Next, select the Color and enter the Indent you wish to use for the trace lines.
Optionally add Notes to the Action to document any special instructions or functionality. When the Run Switchis set to Run, the action will be executed after clicking OK.
Note: The run switch is set to Run by default. To create or modify this action without executing it, click the slider to change the option to Don't Run. For more information, see Action Builder.
Click the OK button to save the Action.
