What is the Detect PDF Action?
The Detect PDFs Action force detects the open PDF documents. Before Nintex RPA can interact with a PDF document, it must first be aware that the document is open. Nintex RPA is designed to automatically detect PDF documents when they are opened. In certain scenarios, a document may not be detected due to how the document loads into memory and the time it takes for the PDF document to open. In these cases, a Detect PDFs Action can be added to a Botflow to instruct Nintex RPA to look through all the open PDF documents and detect any that may have been missed when it was opened.
Note: The Detect PDFs Action is slow to execute, therefore use this Action sparingly to maximize speed. In most cases, this Action is not needed.
