Stop Task

The Stop Task action halts the botflow just as if the Pause button was pressed.

Note: The Actions Quick Reference provides a complete list of actions that you can print for easy reference.

Create a Stop Task Action

  1. Click Flow actions to expand the Actions list.

  2. Select Stop Task to display the Action Builder.

  3. Select the Hide the stop message check box if you do not want Nintex Bot to display a message when the script is stopped.  Use this option to suppress the default message and replace it with your own custom message by placing a Show Message action just before the Stop Task action.

  4. (Optional) Type Notes to document special instructions or functionality.

  5. Click OK to save the action.

If the run switch is set to Run, the action is executed.

Note: The run switch is set to Run by default. To create or modify this action without executing it, click the slider to change the option to Don't Run.  For more information, go to Action Builder.
