Open Chrome

The Open Chrome actions starts the Google Chrome browser.

Note: The Actions Quick Reference provides a complete list of actions that you can print for easy reference.

  1. Drag and drop the Selector onto the Google Chrome title bar.

    The Target Preview opens.

  2. Click the Open Chrome action.

    The Action Builder opens.

  3. Click Rules to modify how Nintex Bot finds the target.

  4. Configure the timing and error settings.

    Note: For more information about the timing and error settings, go to Action Builder.

  5. Specify the URL to be loaded when the Google Chrome browser is launched.

  6. (Optional) Specify Command Line Options to be used when the action is executed.

  7. From the If running drop-down list, select when to launch the action if another instance of Google Chrome is already running: 

    • Do not launch. Google Chrome will not launch if another instance of Google Chrome is already running.

    • Launch again. Google Chrome will launch again regardless of how many instances of Google Chrome are already running.

  8. (Optional) Add Notes to the action to document special instructions or functionality.

  9. Set the run switch.

  10. Note: The run switch is set to Run by default. To create or modify this action without executing it, click the slider to change the option to Don't Run.  For more information, go to Action Builder.

  11. Click OK to save the action. If the run switch was set to Run, the action will be executed.
