Go to Website

The Go to Website action causes the default internet browser window to navigate to a specific website.

Create a Go to Website action

  1. Drag and drop the Selector tool onto the title bar of the application to display the Target Preview.

  2. Click the Go to Website Browser action to display the Action Builder.

  3. Click Rules to modify how Nintex Bot finds the target.

  4. Configure the timing and error settings to fine tune the how the action will run.

    5. Note: For more information about the timing and error settings, go to Action Builder.

  5. Select a Navigation Option:

    • Specific URL.  If you select a Specific URL, you must specify the URL.  Click Use Current to insert the current URL into the field automatically.
    • Home
    • Previous
    • Next
    • Refresh

  6. (Optional) Add Notes to document special instructions or functionality.

  7. Toggle the run switch to Run and click OK to execute and save the action.

    8. Note: The run switch is set to Run by default. To create or modify this action without executing it, click the slider to change the option to Don't Run.  For more information, go to Action Builder.
