Go to Record
The Go to Record action jumps to a specific record in data files. You can use this action when you use an Open Data action. You do not need to use this action when you manually open data in Nintex Bot.

Create a Go to Record action

On the Actions list, click Data and select Go to Record.

Select the target record from the Go to drop-down list:
- First record: Navigates to the first record in the data files.
- Previous record: Navigates to the previous record in the data files. This may be adjusted to navigate to the previous unmarked record.
- Next record: Navigates to the next record in the data files. This may be adjusted to navigate to the next unmarked record.
- Last record: Navigates to the last record in the data files.
- Specific record: Navigates to a specific record defined by the user.
- If you selected to go to a Specific record in step 2, enter the target Record. Optionally, click the Magic Wand to use the Expression Builder.
- (Optional) Select Mark the current record before leaving, if desired.
- (Optional) If you selected to go to the Previous record or Next record in step 2, and you want to skip records that are marked or unmarked, select Skip records that are and then select Marked or Unmarked.

(Optional) Add a Note to document special instructions or functionality.

Toggle the run switch to Run and click OK to execute and save the action.
Note: The run switch is set to Run by default. To create or modify this action without executing it, click the slider to change the option to Don't Run. For more information, go to Action Builder.
