Embed a process
If you have multiple Nintex Process Manager sites and want to re-use common processes, you can embed the process using an embeddable process link without the need to duplicate and maintain multiple processes.
The embedded process is similar to any other process, except that it can only be updated from the Nintex Process Manager site where it was created. When you make changes to an embedded process in a Nintex Process Manager site, the changes are automatically updated in any Nintex Process Manager sites where the process is embedded.
For processes embedded in other Nintex Process Manager sites, you can:

Embedded process links can only be used in another Nintex Process Manager site. To share a process externally, you can use Minimode A permalink to a Nintex Promapp process or document which allows anonymous users to access processes, documents or process groups. links. See Configure Minimode Links.
The Embed a Process feature can only be enabled by Nintex Support. Promasters/Business analysts from both Nintex Process Manager sites (the Nintex Process Manager site sharing the process to be embedded, and the Nintex Process Manager site where the process will be embedded) must contact Nintex Support with the request, stating their Nintex Process Manager site names.
Restrictions apply to embedded processes to ensure the organisation that owns the original process retains control of it. Because the embedded processes are sourced from other sites, the following limitations apply:

Process links cannot be linked from a process, only a process group overview.

Process links within an embedded process are not accessible.

Risk information is not displayed.

Copying and exporting is unavailable, however printing to PDF is available.

Information tabs on the Map page will not display data for Feedback and Documents. Only summary information is displayed.
- Only the process title and keywords can be searched.
- Feedback is sent to the Process Owner A user responsible for ensuring the process is operating effectively, and continuously improving. Not necessarily a subject matter expert, but empowered with organisational authority to approve changes as needed. and Process Expert A user who performs day-to-day process management on behalf of the Process Owner. This role requires detailed understanding of the process. in the Nintex Process Manager site where the embedded process is created. Responses are returned to the email address provided in the feedback.

A "process not available" message is displayed in the following scenarios:

The process changes to In Progress (when Publish/Process Approval mode is not enabled).

The process is archived.

The process has variations applied to it.

Share an embeddable process link
You can share an embeddable process link with the designated process owner for the other Nintex Process Manager site where the process needs to be embedded.
- Navigate to the process and click the share drop-down list.
How do I navigate to a process?
Complete one of the following actions:
- Use the Search box at the top-right of the main navigation bar.
- On the Home Page:
- Use the Search box.
- Click Recently viewed or My favourites.
- Click Processes > All Processes.
- Click Processes > Recently viewed.
- Click Share embeddable process link.
- Copy the link displayed in the Share embeddable Process Link dialog box.
- Click Close.
Share the link with the process owner via email.
Embed a process
- To embed a process:
- Click Processes > New process > Embed a process.
- Right-click on a process group > New Process > Embed a Process.
- Click on the cog wheel of a process group > New Process > Embed a Process.
- Paste the embeddable process link from a different Nintex Process Manager site in the Embed Process Link dialog box.
- Click Load to validate the link and display some basic process information.
- Click Embed.

The process is embedded and displays in the list prefixed with this icon: .
Embed a process
Delete an embedded process link
- Click Processes. The process list is displayed.
- In the left pane, locate and right-click on the embedded process, and then click Remove.
The embedded process link is deleted.
