ServiceNow

ServiceNow provides IT, security, HR service delivery, customer service, and business application services in one integrated cloud solution, which combines all of these services in a single system of record. For more information on ServiceNow, see the company website.

In the context of Nintex Workflow, ServiceNow is a connector used to create connections for ServiceNow actions. Use ServiceNow actions to create, update, delete, retrieve, and query records.

Create a ServiceNow connection

Note: Your browser-stored credentials are accessed to create connections. Either clear credentials from browser memory or make sure the stored credentials are for the intended environment.

Create a connection from the connections page or from the action configuration panel when configuring the action. For information about creating connections and assigning permissions, see Manage connections.

In the Add a new connection section, complete the fields as follows:

Select or enter the following

Connection name

A name for your new connection.

Instance name

The name of your ServiceNow instance.

Username

Username of your ServiceNow connection login.

Password

Password for your ServiceNow connection login.

Note: The Instance name, username and password can be retrieved from the Manage instance password page in ServiceNow.
