My Apps

My Apps provides a central destination for runtime users to access apps to which they have permission.

Access the My Apps page

A participant role is required. For more information, see User roles.

Log into Nintex Apps.

If you only have permission to access one app, you are redirected to that app.

If you have permission to access multiple apps and have not selected a default app, they appear on the My Apps page. Click an app to open it.

If you do not have permission to access any apps, no apps will appear on the My Apps page.

If your administrator has selected a default app to open, that app opens. For more information, see Select a custom default app.

Set up a custom My Apps page

  An administrator or designer role is required. For information, see User roles.

You can set up a custom My Apps page using the template from the Nintex Gallery to be the default app to open when a participant accesses Nintex Apps and has permission to more than one app.

  1. Download the Custom My Apps template from the Nintex Gallery.

  2. Click Deployments in the top navigation bar in Nintex Apps.

  3. Upload and install the Custom My Apps template as a package in the site. For more information, see Deployment.

  4. Open the app and customize it as desired. For more information, see To create and customize apps, see Create and customize apps..

  5. Select the customized app as the default app. For more information, see Select a custom default app.

    Participants are granted access to the custom app. The app appears as the default app when participants access Nintex Apps.

You can select a different default app to open (like a previously created custom My Apps page) when a participant accesses Nintex Apps and has permission to more than one app. If a custom default app is not selected, the My Apps page will open.

  1. Click Apps in the top navigation bar.

  2. Click and select Set default app.

  3. Select a default App. If you want to set up a custom My Apps page to select as the default app, see Set up a custom My Apps page.

  4. Click Save.
