Yammer - Send a message to users

Use the Yammer - Send a message to users action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. Actions are the steps the workflow performs to complete a process. to send a message to specific Yammer users. Use this action in collaboration with the Yammer - Get users by email action.

Configure the Yammer - Send a message to users action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.

  1. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.
  1. Specify the Message text.
  2. Click Add user ID and specify a user using their User ID.

User ID - the unique identifying number of a user.

You can use the output object of a Yammer - Get users by email action to retrieve the user ID.
 Integer
