Create or edit a form using the AI Assistant

  • This is a beta feature. It is available when the feature is selected in the AI features for the tenant.

  • Please click the Feedback link in the AI Assistant to share your feedback and help us enhance the Nintex Assistant feature even more.

The Nintex Assistant is an intelligent, AI-powered tool that simplifies and enhances the form design process. Use the AI Assistant to leverage generative AI to complete design time tasks such as:

  • Quickly generate structured forms with controls and advanced elements like repeating sections

  • Create multi-page forms and format them effectively

  • Edit existing form properties (for example, make all fields in a Group control required)

  • Create rules and apply logic (for example, make fields mandatory or optional based on user input)

  • Style forms with themes (for example, use a predefined professional blue theme)

  • Provide help content

  • Provide intuitive suggestions throughout the form creation process

The AI Assistant provides faster time to value, unlocks creative solutions, and enhances productivity.

For best results, provide specific details about the form you want to generate or edit.

Create or edit a form using AI

  1. Open the Form designer.

  2. On right side of the window, open the AI Assistant.

  3. Ask a question or enter a description about the form you want to create or edit in the text box.

    Note: For better results, provide specific information about the form you want to create or edit.

  4. Click Generate a form.

    The Form you created is displayed in the Form designer. The generated form can now be customized further in the Form designer or through the AI Assistant.

  5. Follow the AI Assistant prompts to add to or organize the form.

  6. To clear the AI Assistant chat window, click Clear Chat.
