Using the Image Annotation Control
The Image Annotation control lets you annotate photos taken with your Android device or images in your device gallery. You can display the annotated image on a form or save it to a SmartObject for later use. This control must be configured at form design time with rules that handle the events and data captured using the control. For information on configuring the control at form design time see the Image Annotation Control topic in the K2 smartforms User Guide.
The Image Annotation control is only available in a form, and there is not another way to access it in the app.
Tapping the annotation control on a pre-configured SmartForm allows you to either choose an existing image from the device's photo gallery or take a new photo with the device. Once you choose an image you can then annotate it.

The pen icon shows the color swatch bar on the bottom of the screen. Drag over it to select the pen's color. Draw on the image to make whatever annotations you want. The color of the pen icon is the selected color on the swatch.
The resize icon allows you to zoom the image with a pinch gesture and pan around the zoomed image with a single finger drag. Double tapping the icon resets the image zoom level.
The erase icon removes the last stroke of your annotation with a single tap, or all annotations with a tap and hold. |
You can cancel the image annotation by tapping the X on the top left of the screen. Tap Done to keep your annotations and return to the form.
