Turn Off Before Task
Note: The Actions Quick Reference provides a complete list of actions that you can print for easy reference.
The Before Task turns on automatically after the Start Task is executed at the beginning of a botflow. The behavior of the Before Task is set to Run the task: 'My Before Task Name' in the Start Task. As a result, even if the Turn Off Before Task action has been executed on previous botflow runs, it must still execute on the first run or the Before Task will run. For example, if you have six runs in your botflow and you set up the Turn Off Before Task to execute on botflow runs 1 through 5, but not on run 6, the Before Task will still be executed.
The Turn Off Before Task action modifies the standard behavior of botflows running in Nintex Bot and changes the botflow behavior at run time. You may want to use this action due to special conditions. You can create a Turn Off Before Task action to turn off a Before Task when the action executes. For more information about tasks and creating a Before Task, see Before Task.
To create a Turn Off Before Task action in a botflow, on the Actions list, click Flow and select Turn Off Before Task from the Before Task list.
Alternatively, you can manually toggle Run the task: 'My Before Task Name' in the Start Task in a botflow with a Before Task. The botflow must be stopped or paused before the play button has been depressed to manually turn off the Before Task.
