Toggle Variable

The Toggle Variable action toggles the value of a variable. The variable must be a True/False variable type. After selecting a Boolean variable when setting up the action, Nintex Bot will change the value of the variable to the opposite of what it currently is when the action is run.

Create a Toggle Variable action

  1. On the Actions list, click Data and select Toggle Variable.

  2. Select a Boolean (True/False) Variable. Optionally, click the Magic Wand to use the Expression Builder. If you select another variable type, like text, you will receive a warning message.

  3. (Optional) Add a Note to document special instructions or functionality.

  4. Toggle the run switch to Run and click OK to execute and save the action.

    5. Note: The run switch is set to Run by default. To create or modify this action without executing it, click the slider to change the option to Don't Run.  For more information, go to Action Builder.
