Set Error Task
The Set Error Task action designates a specific task in the botflow as the error task.

Click Flow in the Actions panel to expand the action list.

Select the Set Error Task action to display the action builder. For more information, go to Action Builder.

Choose how you would like to define the task:

To define the task from a list of tasks, select Select a task name from the Task drop-down list and then select a task to run on error.

To define the task using a specified task that may be defined with a token, select Use a specified task name from the Task drop-down list and type the Name of the task to run on error.

(Optional) Type Notes to document any special instructions or functionality.
- Toggle the Run Switch to control how Nintex Bot runs the action when adding or editing the action in a botflow:
- To run the action automatically when you click OK, switch the toggle to Run. This is the default.
- If you do not want to run the action automatically when you click OK, switch the toggle to Don't Run.

Click OK to save the action.
When the Set Error Task action is located in a task that is already designated to run on error, it will be ignored.
