What is the Download HTML Action?

The Download HTML Action downloads the HTML code of a web page.

Creating a Download HTML Action

Select the Advanced Action group, then select theDownload HTMLAction to display the Action Builder.

Specify the URL from which to download the HTML.

Select whether to save the HTML to a:

• File
• Variable

If File is selected, you must enter the File path with extension.

If Variable is selected, you must specify the Variable where the HTML should be stored.

Optionally add Notes to the Action to document any special instructions or functionality. When the Run Switch is set to Run, the action will be executed after clicking OK.

Note: The run switch is set to Run by default. To create or modify this action without executing it, click the slider to change the option to Don't Run.  For more information, go to Action Builder.

Click the OK button to save the Action.
