What is the Delete Variable Action?

The Delete Variable Action deletes one or more variables from the botflow while the script is running.  This Action is used when creating advanced scripts.

Creating a Delete Variable Action

Select Data Actions to expand the Action list. Select theDelete Variable Action from the Actions list to display the Action Builder.

Select one of the following options:

• Delete the selected Variables
• Delete all except the selected variables
• Delete all variables

The list of variables allows you to select which variables are deleted or not deleted (based on the option selected).

Optionally add Notes to the Action to document any special instructions or functionality. When the Run Switchis set to Run, the action will be executed after clicking OK.

Note: The run switch is set to Run by default. To create or modify this action without executing it, click the slider to change the option to Don't Run.  For more information, go to Action Builder.

Click the OK button to save the Action.
