Training Add-on Dashboard

The dashboard is a centralised point for notifying you about training that you are required to complete either as a Trainee Any user who undertakes a training unit, competency unit or onboarding, responsible for completing training as scheduled and to record completion if "self sign-off" is required., Training Supervisor A user who determines that an incident has occurred, chooses the relevant portfolio in Nintex Promapp and completes the applicable incident form., or Onboarding Owner A user who evaluates the nature of the incident, determines a priority (low, medium, high), and assigns to an Incident Owner for investigation..

  • The My Training dashboard displays all the training units you are required to view, acknowledge, complete, or supervise.
  • The My Training dashboard notifies you of upcoming training that are due and need actions.
  • The My Changes dashboard notifies you of any process changes that you are required to acknowledge once you have completed your onboarding.
  • There are red indicators which will appear above each of the relevant dashboard tabs showing how many notifications require your attention in each section.

Access the My Training dashboard

  • Go to My Dashboard > My Training. The following columns are displayed:
Column Description
Type Type selected when the training was created. For example, Course or Face to Face.
Title Title of the training.
Location Location where the training is conducted. For example, Auckland or desk-based.
Provider Details of the training provider.
Supervisor Supervisor or owner responsible for the training.
Involvement Involvement in the training. For example, Supervisor or Onboarding Owner.
Date/Time Date and time of training.
Action

The following actions are displayed based on your involvement.

  • Trainee:
    • Mark as Completed - Indicates that you have completed the requirements of the training unit.
    • Mark as Attended - Indicates that you attended a session for the training unit.
    • Assess Competency - Allows you to record the competency you achieved for the competency unit.
    • Accept - Acknowledges that you have been informed of training where a Training Supervisor will mark your attendance or assess your competency. After accepting you will be able to download a calendar invite.
    • Remove - Removes the notification from your dashboard. The Training Supervisor is not notified if you intend not to attend the training.
    • View - Navigates to the process you are required to read and understand.
    • Acknowledge - Confirms that you have read and understood the process.

You can attach a file as evidence that you have completed, attended, or were assessed at a particular competency level. In some cases attaching evidence is mandatory.

  • Training Supervisor:
    • Mark Attendance - Mark each trainee as having attended or not attended the training.
    • Mark Completion - Mark each trainee as having completed or not completed the training.
    • Assess Competency - Assess the level of competency for a trainee you supervise.
  • Training Owner:
    • Seen It - Removes the notification for training that is about to expire or has expired for a trainee. Expiry notifications are generated one month before the training is due to expire. It is recommended to reschedule the training.
  • Onboarding Owner, in addition to the actions for trainees they supervise, the following option is also available:
    • Close Onboarding - Marks the onboarding plan as closed with no further training required.
Note: 
  • Process acknowledgements are included in the My Training dashboard when they are part of a users onboarding plan, all other process acknowledgement notifications can be found in the My Changes dashboard.
  • When marking a training unit or competency unit as completed you can set the date that the training was completed.
