Document only groups

Document only groups are set up to store documents, not processes, and can be used to support documentation you want to use in various areas across your site. Document only groups are identified by a special icon in the administration area Admin > Manage Groups and don’t appear in the process views.

Create a document only group

Promaster A Nintex Promapp system administrator who administers a Nintex Promapp site and has rights to view and edit all areas of a Nintex Promapp site. privilege is required.

  1. Go to Admin > Manage Groups.

    Note: You won’t be able to convert a group to a document only group if the group is associated with any processes or sub-groups, even archived ones. Move or permanently delete any associated processes or create a fresh group.

  2. Click S next to a process group Process groups are a collection of processes that share a common theme or objective. Process groups enable you to organize and manage your processes, arranging them in helpful categories and controlling who has access to them. in the Manage Groups tree view and then click Convert to document only group.

The process group will be changed to a document only group with a different icon.

Change a document only group to a process group

  1. Go to Admin > Manage Groups.
  2. Right-click on the group name and then click Convert to process and document group.
