Image Masking

Hide potentially sensitive recorded information collected by Process Discovery.

When masking is enabled, every screen capture displayed on the Console goes through the masking mechanism that:

• Analyzes all the text on the recorded screen

• Identifies potentially sensitive information

• Blurs out the target text

Enable image masking

You can enable image masking during or after installation of the Process Discovery server.

• During installation: Install the Process Discovery Server using the System Manager. On the Optional Features page, toggle the Enable image masking option to On.

• Post installation: If you have completed the installation and wish to add image masking, reinstall the Process Discovery server using the System Manager. Ensure that you toggle the Enable image masking to On on the Optional Features page of the installer.

After enabling the Image Masking feature , you can set the Image Masking Scheduler to prepare the required images and mask them in advance, which is anytime before you actually start reviewing the process results. This way the images are processed and masked in advance, without interfering with your work.
